Quite simply, this is the best opal ring we have ever had the pleasure to create.  This bespoke opal and diamond cluster features a large black opal in a unique  asymmetrical, low cabochon cut chosen to enhance the fire and colour play of the gemstone. Weighing 3.87ct, the black opal is held in six white claws to a diamond set surround of 36 brilliant cut diamonds, 0.29ct in total and having diamond quality of G/H colour and SI clarity.  The cluster head is all in platinum
 
An open mount to a D-shaped, cross section band in 18ct yellow gold.  Finger size N with some resizing possible and carried out in our own jewellery workshop.
