A French diamond brooch circa 1920s and set with approx. 2.75ct of old cut diamond. The brooch design is formed by two adjoining tapered, open oblong shapes each incorporating a larger old cut, collet set diamond within a frame which is then comprised of old cut diamonds in white claw settings to a polished sided frame measuring approx. 4.30cm x 2.30cm. The diamonds are assessed as J/K/L colour and SI2/I1 clarity. Stamped with an eagle's head and assessed as white gold. Gross item weight 7.20gms.
