The brooch centres on five round, cabochon cut white opals (four measuring approx. 3.20 - 3.30mm diameter and one measuring approx. 5.80mm), 12 cushion shaped, French cut diamonds (measuring approx. 3.00mm x 2.80mm to 3.30mm x 3.10mm). 
 
Additionally grain set with 17 split pearls (measuring from 1.70mm to 3.70mm diameter) and 10 eight-cut diamonds (measuring 1.30mm to 1.40mm diameter) and 11 eight/swss/old european diamonds (measuring from 1.30mm x 1.30mm to 3.30mm x 3.40mm). 
 
The brooch fastens witha revolving safety catch. Brooch is not hallmarked, tests as 18ct gold. The caculated total diamond weight is 2.32ct with colour and clarity approximately H/I/J and SI. Gross item weigh 11.23gms.
